Tall Pines Resort Location
Tall Pines Resort is located in East Bay which is a quiet bay in the central part of Nelson Lake. The resort has easy access to Hayward being 6 miles north off HWY 63. We also have access off HWY 27. Follow the signs on Nelson Lake Road to the resort. Waterfront cabins are on mostly flat ground with no hills to climb other than Cabin 6 which has a slope to the lake, they are all less than 100 Feet to the docks. Please make reservations early as summer dates June Through August get filled fast. Things to know
There is a Restaurant and Bar on site. The Restaurant and Bar is normally open 5 days a week and we will post our hours for 2025 on the restaurant page of this site as soon as possible. The daily specials may change due to availability from time to time. We will post any changes asap. Or give us a call and make sure we can serve your needs.
Prepare For Your Trip
In 2020 due to covid we have asked our renters to bring their own pillows and blankets. Some people still prefer that option and you are welcome to do so. The cabins are sanitized before your stay and laundry sanitizer is used on all the sheets as well. The cabins have coffee pots, microwave ovens, silverware, pots, pans, dishes, etc. just about anything you may need. Full High Speed Internet is supplied in all the units. So if you have a firestick or other device with all your special programming you are also welcome to do as such We ask you bring your personal items .

We have surveyed our customers this past season and most felt much more comfort in having their own pillows and blankets. However, Your Cabin will be fitted with pillows sheets and blankets
Equipment Rental
We have a short supply of boats and motors. We do have a list of resorts that do supply these. If you are in need of a rental, please let us know in advance so we are able to meet your needs.
Bear Country Rentals has an assortment of boats from 14 foot fishing boats with 15hp motors. They also have pontoons and other fishing boats delivered to your dock and picked up when you are finished. Click on the label to the left and check out their site.
